Every car has four main filters: the cabin filter, oil filter, fuel filter and air filter. The function of all these filters is to enable flow and catch impurities: the dust and contaminants in the air, the impurities in the fuel or the dirt in the motor oil.
Air Filters
The engine draws in between 200 m³ and 500 m³ of air per hour. This air is loaded with dirt and dust particles. The level of pollution is determined by various factors. The engine air filter and associated air filters are essential to supply clean air for any combustion engine.
Oil Filters
Combustion engines require top notch lubrication for seamless operation. It is not only engine oils that need to meet stringent requirements but also the quality of the oil filters used plays a central role in avoiding damage caused by dirt particles, soot or unburned fuel in oil.
Fuel Filters
Although we have high standards of fuel there is still a risk of dirt particles and water getting into fuel tanks. It is for this reason that every combustion engine is fitted with a fuel filter. It makes an important contribution to the operational reliability of the engine..
Cabin Filters
In recent times the concentration of toxic substances on our roads has increased significantly. To avoid this, modern vehicles are fitted with cabin compartment filters. These filters remove all harmful substances from the ambient air, supplying the interior with clean air.
